- If you're just going to look for some general bass tabs, bass tabs for bands, or looking for lessons from basic playing to slapping and back, go to the BTA.
- Harmony Central
- The Ultimate Resource for Musicians! Go to the Bass Section and find updates on products, latest news, links to various bass production companies, and links to magazines.
- OLGA
- Another general tab site with tons of bass tabs. Also has an expanded general tabs section, with tabs like the Seinfeld theme.
- Bass Player Magazine
- Mandatory reading material for all bassists! Includes intensive product reviews, full length songs, and columns by professional bassists. The September '98 issues features columns by: Rick Turner, jazz bassist John Goldsby, Dave LaRue (touring and recording bassist for Dixie Dregs and the Steve Morse Band since 1988), session player/ solo artist/ instructor Steve Bailey, and bass book author Ed Friedland.
